Carla looks after the administration at Sacred Earth. She joins the leadership team as a key ‘behind the scenes’ member.

Working at this beautiful place called Sacred Earth has been such a blessing. Having grown up in rural East Sussex, nature has always been present in my life and I feel incredibly grateful for it.

Initially, Sacred Earth employed me to assist in getting their biochar product online. My role has developed further and now I look after most of the administration, team organisation and supporting our upcoming projects.

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by the enormous devastation to our natural planet, but, being able to support a small organisation with big dreams gives me a great sense of hope.  I love working amongst a team of people who are also passionate about nature and the outdoors.

In my spare time I work on my start-up business; Party Auntie, which offers eco-friendly children’s parties at Sacred Earth. I also play rugby for the Heathfield & Waldron women’s squad as their scrum half. Like Sacred Earth, I may be small but I’ve got big dreams!
