Pathfinders 2027: Initiation Rites for Young Women (ages 15-25)

Embark on a transformative journey with Pathfinders 2027— a sacred adventure designed for young women, ages 15-25, to experience deep initiation and a powerful rites of passage. Guided by Agnes Ashbell and Phil Greenwood of Sacred Earth, this immersive experience offers a profound three-fold journey that helps young women step into their true power, wisdom, and responsibility.

We are delighted to announce that we will be sharing a beautiful three fold adventure journey for young women next year, parallel but separate to our young men’s initiation adventure journey
Our team of Agnes, Phil and Sophie will be hosting and holding space for a powerfully transformative adventure that will touch on the heroines journey – based on three transformative weekends

1. The Descending Threshold
This weekend marks the first step of the journey—preparing for and separating from the young girl stage. Through purification ceremonies, storytelling, and sacred ritual, they will engage in a “letting go of the girl” ceremony, loosening the cords of childhood to create space for new growth. Three transformative underworld journeys will lead them into the depths of their soul, bringing light and leadership into awakened consciousness. Guided by the wisdom of the Heroine’s Journey they will begin to understand the path to becoming women.

2. The Journey
The heart of the initiation experience is a 3 day adventure in the wild. This hands-on journey over land teaches self-reliance, survival techniques, natural navigation, and ancient scout skills. As they cultivate their inner compass and deepen their intuition, they will develop a profound sense of place and belonging. Through teamwork and leadership challenges, they’ll strengthen bonds with each other and discover the power of community. This is where they truly begin to connect with their inner direction and vision.

3. The Return
The final step is the return to the village, where they are welcomed back into society as initiated young persons. Through a purification and naming ceremony, they can integrate their new wisdom, strength, and maturity. This powerful return is marked by celebration and honour, witnessed by their families and community. They are no longer girls—they are sisters, leaders, and women of the future.
