The Grief Recovery Method® Online Group Programme with Phil Greenwood
The Grief Recovery Method® with Phil — January 2026 Online Group Programme
How do we remain upright in our minds, deeply listening and maintaining an open heart, when the world around us feels like it’s splitting in two?
One path pulls us back toward fear, suppression, projection, and control.
The other invites us into a new way of being: increased beauty, enhanced vitality, stronger boundaries, a clearer emotional landscape, and access to new energy as old patterns and trauma unwind and release.
At Sacred Earth, we believe that navigating these times requires more than resilience — it requires completion. The unprocessed losses we carry, silently shaping our inner world, steal vitality, narrow our choices, and weigh heavily on our hearts. Grief is not only about death. It is about any significant change, disappointment, rupture, or heartbreak — both tangible and intangible — that interrupts the flow of life.
We are opening a small number of places for our next 8-week online group programme in The Grief Recovery Method®, beginning Wednesday 7th January 2026 (7–9pm GMT). You can connect with Phil to find out more or to secure your place at this link
Why The Grief Recovery Method®?
The Grief Recovery Method is the only evidence-based grief recovery programme in the world, with 45 years of research, practice, and proven outcomes. It is a trusted, structured, and compassionate process that helps you move beyond the pain of emotional loss — not by forgetting, but by completing what has been left emotionally unfinished.

What You Will Receive
This is not a ceremonial process, nor is it a passive support group.
It is a practical, effective educational pathway grounded in action, completion, and emotional clarity.
Across the 8 weeks, you will:
- Learn the tools and teachings of the method.
- Work with one significant personal loss during the programme.
- Gain an embodied experience of emotional completion.
- Build the capacity to process additional losses on your own afterward.
- Learn how to better understand, support, and communicate with others who are grieving.
- Reduce subconscious blocks, unspoken narratives, and inherited patterns.
- Free up emotional, mental, and energetic bandwidth.
- Strengthen your relational, social, and energetic boundaries.
This work benefits everyone — especially parents, grandparents, carers, teachers, therapists, coaches, and leaders who wish to support others while staying centred within themselves.
My Experience with GRM
During my own training, I brought two deep and long-standing losses into the work.
One was an unresolved emotional wound with my mother — she is still alive, yet our relationship has been in a “death process” for years. The method helped me release what I had carried alone for so long. The shift was visceral.
The second was the death of a close friend from my military service, who was killed instantly during operations in the early 1990s. I had never been able to process or even speak about this loss. Through GRM, I accessed a place within myself I had been unable to reach for decades. Something unspoken finally moved.
We all carry a backpack of losses — small at first, like grains of sand or pebbles: a harsh comment, a broken friendship, the loss of trust, a childhood disappointment, a traumatic moment, a move, a heartbreak. Over time, those small pebbles become boulders that weigh down our life force.
The purpose of The Grief Recovery Method is simple: to empty the backpack so we can live fully again.
There are over 40 recognised types of loss — and all of them deserve completion.

Why Now
Recognition, acceptance, and movement of grief is essential for health, happiness, and spiritual clarity.
Unprocessed grief constricts our emotional range; processed grief restores our innate vitality.
This work is not about revisiting pain — it is about reclaiming life.
If you feel called to lighten your load, deepen your emotional integrity, and free energy for the path ahead, you are warmly invited to join us.
We are the ones we have been waiting for.
