In 2016 Sacred Earth became a Community Benefit Society in order to grow the organisation and create a place for future generations to connect, learn and grow.
Welcome to Sacred Earth
Sacred Earth is community-owned land project that connects people with nature. We specialise in experiential learning and our courses and events are designed to help people establish better relationships with themselves, each other and the natural world. We see ourselves as community builders and environmental custodians of our 40-acre site in Horam, East Sussex.
We’re also a Community Benefit Society (CBS), which means any profits we make are returned to the community organisation rather than being distributed among members or Tramadol external shareholders.
You can join our CBS by investing just £50 in shares. This gives you a direct say in our future. Click here to find out more.

Just Growth, a new funding programme designed to encourage community-based food and farming projects, supported us in our transition to become a CBS. The programme is aimed at social enterprises that are producing food in an environmentally and socially responsible way.
In September 2016, we ran our first community share offer and successfully raised over £40,000 to help us to support a variety of exciting new projects on the land. We are still looking for new members/shareholders, so if you’re interested in joining our community, read on….
