Have you ever had the feeling that ‘something isn’t right’? This is an example of natural intuition that we all have, but most of us no longer use.
Awakening the Senses is a course designed to put us back in touch with our deeper, more animal selves and teach us to develop our vision, hearing, touch and intuition to a different level.
It’s also a nature-connection mindfulness exercise, which improves our health and wellbeing.
Phil Greenwood, a former Royal Marine commando, teaches the course. “I always felt I was pretty switched on to my senses,” he says. “I felt comfortable outdoors in all weathers. But after I was introduced to a deeper, older sensory integration I found myself awakening to something else.
“Over time, these practices have become part of me and switched on a light inside, giving me an inner vision and creativity I never knew was there.”
Some of the practices covered include the Native American practice of embodying and taking on the senses of various animals. For example, Owl Eyes is about being able to see beyond our normal peripheral vision and Deer Ears uses the huge etheric funnels that give this animal such powerful hearing abilities.
As we open ourselves up to greater connection with the natural world around us we gain a sense of power, peace and grace.
This course can be completed as a series of six sessions throughout May and June or taken as a stand-alone day. Cost: £55 per day or £280 for the whole six weeks (saving £50).
