Sacred Earth’s partners
We’re a small organisation with a big vision: we want to build a healthier relationship between humanity and nature. To do this we need partners.
Our approach to everything is to create connection. That includes people’s connection to nature, to themselves and to each other.
Within this umbrella approach are various other goals: to increase biodiversity on our site, build a local community, support young people’s development and provide a range of ecotherapy courses for adults. We also support ethical farming (we have our own farm on site) and we’re starting to become a hub for other sustainable micro-businesses.
We’ve found partners who share our vision. These include:
- The High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – which gave us funding.
- Just Growth – another funding organisation that supports sustainable farming.
- Cultivating Curiosity – offers nature-mentoring programmes for young people and feeds into our Earth Steward Apprenticeship programme.
- 8Shields – a global mentoring community with its own unique approach, who’s nature-based model we use in all our programmes.
- Wealden Works – a rural employment initiative for young people, who have contributed a lot to our nature conservation work.
