We had a great day yesterday at Stanmer Apple Day, an annual community event organised by Brighton Permaculture Trust and attended by thousands of people which features possibly the best apple crumble on the planet. It was pretty much non-stop on the Sacred Earth/Sacred Seeds stand for four hours during the busiest part of the day. We met some lovely people and heard about some brilliant projects… and we talked a lot about our own!

If we met you at the Sacred Earth stand yesterday, thanks for coming and saying hello! It’s very inspiring to hear about so many new projects which are popping up. We’re really hoping that our experience this year of becoming a Community Benefit Society and running a successful share offer will be useful for others who are following in our footsteps… but we’ve not reached our target yet!

Last week was a quiet one on the investment front which is no surprise because things always slow down in the middle of crowdfunding campaigns like this. Instead of panicking we got stuck into planning the final phase of the campaign and then we took a well earned break from campaigning for a few days. Now we’re back, full of energy and ready for the final push! We have two and a half buy topamax medication weeks to raise £12,000 which is no mean feat but we’re confident that with the help of our friends and supporters, we can do it! We managed to raise £10,000 in the first week of the offer and we’re expecting to achieve a similarly impressive feat in our final weeks.
