Land Learners

The Land Learners programme is focused on bringing inter-generational groups together to learn new land-based skills in a nature-friendly way.

Activities include woodland management, making wildlife habitats, permaculture principles, community food growing, tree planting and pond building. Each session will also include a wellbeing activity, which builds your connection with nature.

The flow of each day is:

  • 9.45am: arrival for 10am start
  • Welcome and introduction to the theme for the day
  • Morning session: learning a land-based skill
  • 12.15: lunch (please bring a packed lunch and drink)
  • 1pm: learn how to connect with nature through your senses (wellbeing session)
  • 3pm: finish with a short round of feedback

Prices:

  • Under 30s and over 60s – £5 per session
  • 30-60 year olds on low wage – £15 per session
  • 30-60 year olds on full wage – £25 per session
