Access via the Cuckoo Trail
Our main entrance for day visitors and workshop attendees is on the Cuckoo Trail. Please park in the free car park on Hillside Drive in Horam village. From there it is a pleasant 25-30 minute walk or five minute cycle along the Cuckoo Trail to Sacred Earth, following the trail south (towards Polegate).
You’ll know when you’re almost there when you see a bike park and concrete seating area on your right, followed quickly by a small white concrete sign on your right with the number 26 on it (indicating the location of a gas main).
The gate to Sacred Earth is a few yards further along on your left. Please note, it simply says ‘private’ on it.
Go through the gate and follow the footpath, which leads you a meadow, then through a small patch of woodland and towards our lake. There you’ll find the yurt, fire and kitchen area on your right.
It is also possible to visit Sacred Earth via train and bicycle. From Polegate station it is a 40 minute cycle along the Cuckoo Trail to the land.
